Shared Ownership

You can buy a home through the shared ownership scheme if you cannot afford the full deposit and mortgage payments for a home. All shared ownership homes (houses and flats) are leasehold properties.

Individual Savings Accounts ISA’s

There are two government schemes available to help you afford to buy a home:

• Help to Buy ISA
• Lifetime ISA

You can no longer open a Help to Buy ISA. You can still open a Lifetime ISA to save for a first home.
